Adam was born and grew up in Rochester,
New York and began playing the guitar
at the age of 13. By the time he was 14
he somehow was able to talk his way into
the local bars to hear live music. "Listening
to all those great blues guitar players
perform just fascinated me and I knew
that's what I wanted to do when I grew up."
After High School, Adam went off to
college to study Psychology, but as many
college students find out it's hard to fit
study time in when there is all this partying
to do. "My college years were pretty much
wasted performing in bars and Frat houses
instead of studying. So much for my
Psychology degree."
After college he had the urge to move
west and eventually relocated in Seattle
in 1989. He soon became a fixture in the
Punk/Grunge circuit during the first half
of the 90's playing with Sick and Wrong,
Bone Cellar, and Spike. The second half
of the 90's Adam began playing in
numerous Seattle Rockabilly/Country
groups including the Dusty 45's, Knut Bell,
Justin Curtis, Little Ray & The Uppercuts,
Six String Eric & His Lazy Ranch Hands, The Wakefields, and
The Hank Williams
Revue.
In addition to these bands, Adam played
guitar with classic artists Paul Burlison,
Joe Clay, Robert Gordon, Candye Kane
and Ray Campi.
