Carrie's music background started while
growing up in Chadron, Nebraska.
Though she hadn't started singing
professionally yet, her young ears were
being influenced by artists ranging from
Bruce Springsteen to Barbara Mandrell
to Lou Rawls.

Carrie started taking lessons by the time
she was 12 and with the encouragement
from teachers, she started singing solos
throughout her adolescent years. She
soon went on to be a top performer in the
state of Washington, performing in many
events and choirs, including The
Washington All-State Choir.

Entering her college years Carrie began
competing in local talent competitions and
always placed high at every event. During
college she studied music theory, music
history, jazz piano, took private voice
lessons, performed in a traveling select
concert choir and was a member of the
community choir and jazz choir. "The one
thing I loved about being in the select
traveling choir was the competition. The
drive and dedication to be the best is
what makes performers and singers
stand out from the rest."

After college, Carrie joined a few local
bands and started pursuing her writing
skills. While the bands were successful,
Carrie still branched out and performed
elsewhere such as singing the National
Anthem at sporting events and winning a
first place plaque for the Eagles National
Talent Competition.

In June 2000 she decided to make a CD
of original music that she had written. She
partnered up with a local musician, which
turned out to be a two and a half-year
venture. During this time they called
themselves "Mirror Image", released a CD
of original works, went to Nashville twice
to record a video and to cut a demo CD,
did many promo radio spots and also
performed on two television specials.
Mirror Image performed throughout
Montana, Idaho, and Washington
performing at various local venues, private
company parties, and charity events,
including a three-show benefit for the
survivors of the September 11th terrorist

attacks. Carrie has also had the
opportunity to open for Country music
stars, Mark Wills, The Bellamy Brothers
and Rich McCready during her early years.

In 2003 Carrie wanted to further her
knowledge in the music business so she
enrolled at The Art Institute of Seattle in
Seattle, WA. and graduated in late 2004
with a degree in Audio Production. This is
where she met the members of Latigo Lace
while they were recording songs for their
CD. Because of the initial and instant
chemistry and her obvious talents, she was
offered a full time position in the band.
Even though she had already moved back
to Spokane she soon realized the band
wasn't going to take no for an answer and
accepted the offer. Currently Carrie works
as a Monitor Engineer for Northern Quest
Casino in Airway Heights, WA. when she
is not performing with Latigo Lace.

Carrie's ears have always been drawn to
all types of music. Her favorite artists
growing up were The Mamas and The
Papas, Diana Ross and The Supremes, as
well as Barbara Mandrell, Lou Rawls and
Donna Summer. The great harmonies she
loves came from the Oak Ridge Boys,
Gatlin Brothers, and Alabama. "My
influences today are still those same
artists along with Leann Womack, Jewel,
Reba, Sarah Mclachlan, and the
Cranberries." She loves to perform in
front of people and loves the fact that
whatever style of music is thrown at her -
She Can Master! "I take pride in what I do
and I pray that the wonderful fans I have
will stick by me throughout my long
adventurous music journey ahead."
